Loving the Marquess, a Book Review

Loving the Marquess by Suzanna Medeiros is pretty good. It was well written; I only found a few typos. The story line was interesting. It had the requisite strong, troubled hero with a mysterious disease that killed his father and brother and a heroine in financial distress. He needs an heir before he dies and she and her brother and sister need somewhere to live. There were even some characters – his grandmother and her sister – who were a little more fleshed out and fun to read about. The thing that ruined it for me was the frequent, too explicit sex scenes. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being XXX-rated, I’d give this story a 7. Keep in mind, though, that I don’t like any sex scenes in a Regency Romance.
