Summer 2017, a few books on my list

Summer, 2017

I read in a variety of genres from historical romances set in various time periods: Regency England, Tudor England, Medieval, Italian Renaissance and modern day, to psychological suspense, memoirs, true stories, literary novels and anything else that catches my attention. I use the website Bookbub.com to find new, discounted, e-books to read on my iPad.

Here are a few of the books I’m planning to read this summer. I’d love to know what’s on your list! There is a place to comment at the bottom of every post.

The Unquiet Daughter, A Memoir by Danielle Flood. This is a sequel to Graham Greene’s The Quiet American and tells the story of a young girl and her dysfunctional mother.

Sous Chef: 24 Hours on the Line by Michael Gibney. A minute-by-minute account of the life of a sous chef in a popular restaurant owned by a famous chef.
